PANORAMA MUSEUM
There are a number of sights to see and places of interest in or near to Sevastopol. You certainly need more than the 7 days we had! One of the sights I had to see was the Panorama Museum.
This museum is dedicated to the Crimean War. Sevastopol is considered a hero city after they defended it from the British and French who tried to establish a colony here in the 1800's. We certainly took a beating here!
Inside the museum there are original uniforms, weapons, guns and so on. But the center piece of the museum is the painting depicting various heroes and battle of the war. It spans the entire room in a 360o scene. It is a marvellous piece of work. Click on the photo's below to see the full picture and more details.
