Hello, my name is Phil and I am the owner of East meet West.
Here's a brief background about me. I got my first computer back in 1996 and got my first taste of the Internet back then. I had a friend working in St. Petersburg at the time who told me about these beautiful women from Russia. I, like many men at the time, had an image of Russian women looking something like the women who competed in the hammer throwing event in the Olympics for Russia! How wrong I was! My friend suggested that I see if there was a way of meeting Russian ladies through the Internet and like you, I was amazed at the number of amazing women that I started to see on the Internet sites that were staggeringly beautiful, apparently available and better still, looking for men like me! Yes, I didn't quite believe it was true. Things that seem to be too good to be true usually are.
I then started contacting many women through various websites I bought addresses of women all over Russia and the FSU countries. I spent a fortune writing letters and buying addresses. And I even started to get interested replies to my letters. Although looking back I probably got a 1 in 10 reply rate! I then started to notice that there was a lack of a personal service being offered by these sites and decided to start my own agency by partnering with the Angelika Network of which I was already a paying client. I wanted to offer a closer, more reliable genuine service. East meet West was the first site to partner with the Angelika Network way back in 1997. I've been through the dot.com boom and bust times and I'm still here! I've been to Russia many times in the last couple of years. I've visited the cities of Moscow, Volgograd, Volzhsky, Minsk, Gomel, Kiev and Sevastopol. I've met many of my agents. But best of all I found and married a wonderful Russian women called Elena in 2001 using my own service. So I know it works! I have seen this way of meeting a woman from a single man's point of view, as well as an agency bringing couples together. You could say I been there, done it and have the t-shirt to prove it! I know every pitfall and every scam that is lurking out there too. I also know what it takes to make your search a success. I have a wealth of experience when it comes to finding a wife from Russia. There are very few websites like mine offering unbiased, personal information, advice and help. I defy you to find a site like mine that offers a fraction of the insight and help that East meet West does.
